Who we are
Providence Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in Monrovia, Liberia, founded in 2012. We are dedicated to uplifting underprivileged communities by enhancing education, healthcare, and community development initiatives, particularly in rural Liberia. Through our humanitarian efforts, we extend support beyond Liberia’s borders, fostering sustainable growth and meaningful change.
Founded in 2012, Providence Foundation Inc. is committed to transforming communities through education, healthcare, and sustainable development. Thanks to a generous donation from the Richard & Helen DeVos Foundation, we have established and continue to manage the Richard & Helen DeVos Medical Center and the Alexander Ketter Academy (AKA) at DeVos Village in Bo-Waterside, Grand Cape Mount County. Additionally, we own and operate the Merial Russell Daycare in Monrovia, providing essential early childhood care and education.
Our work focuses on developing and executing programs that enhance community development by delivering vital services in education, healthcare, agribusiness, business development, and family life support. Through these initiatives, we empower individuals and families, fostering long-term growth and sustainable impact.
